The Mountain Room is furnished with a plush queen-sized bed, a closet, and an eastern view of Taylor Mountain. The Sun Room is fully furnished with two stacking twin beds that combine to make one king-sized bed. It has a walkin closet, and a sunny southern exposure. Both rooms have access to a private bath with a tub.
The center of the Red House is comprised of an open plan with kitchen, dining, and living areas. Off this central core are a laundry room and pantry. On the north side of the home, opposite the Mountain and Sun Rooms, are Todd & Sebs’ quarters.
Chicory Ranch is located in Santa Rosa California fifty miles north of San Francisco and twenty five miles east of the Pacific Ocean. The property is uniquely situated between the urban and the rural. On the eastern edge of Chicory Ranch there is lite-industry. To the west, riparian grasslands lead to the oak woodlands of Taylor Mountain. A five minute drive to the north brings you to markets and the historic town center. San Francisco is a short fifty miles to the south. The Pacific Ocean is twenty five miles to the west.
Also on the property is The Barn, a converted workshop and studio space. The Barn is host to Chicory Ranch Studio & Gardens, an artist residency program. Also on the property is a stand alone one bedroom cottage. The grounds at Chicory Ranch are home to native and cultivated plant and food gardens. A feral flock of wild peacocks roam the grounds.

Sebs (pictured on the right) is an artist, landscaper, gardener and crafty fellow. His company, The Silent Gardener Designs, delivers water-wise native plant landscapes and gardens. Sebs leads the Gardens at Chicory Ranch.
Todd (pictured on the left) is an artist, designer, builder and manager with the Marin County Department of Cultural Services. Todd leads the Studio at Chicory Ranch.
